And if we track back to the 1841 census we get for this family at Bala:- Robert Lloyd (butcher) 70, Elizabeth Lloyd 60, Jane Lloyd 25, Margaret Lloyd 20, Gwen Hughes 15, Jonah Lloyd 15, Elizabeth Lloyd 3 (not born in Merionethshire), Jane Roberts 2.
And the 1861 census gives just Elizabeth Lloyd, 83, butchers widow, born Bala, Merionethshire, living at Bala with just Winifred Lloyd, age 11, a granddaughter born in Birkenhead.
1871 census gives Elizabeth Lloyd, 89, butchers widow, born Llanfor (1 mile from Bala), Merionethshire, living at Bala with just Winifred Lloyd, age 19, a granddaughter born in Liverpool
